I just posted a new video to YouTube that talks about how gas regulators work.
I’m still figuring out the whole process of making a video. In particular, I’m trying to figure out the best way of doing the audio. I tried using a microphone that connects to my phone and lets me record my voice, but if the phone’s screen turns on while recording it starts picking up a lot of electronic noise.
The LED lights I added in my shop really make it a lot brighter than the solitary bulb that used to hang there. Hopefully I’ll start making more videos and refining the shooting/editing process. I’ve been using Shotcut on Ubuntu for my video editing, and I like it a lot so far. It seems much faster than most other programs I’ve used. However, I’m still learning how to use it. The most annoying thing about editing to me right now is when I insert a new clip at some point and accidentally move everything else around, getting the video and audio out of sync.
